- You need 1 of egg, beaten.
- It's 150 ml of (5floz) milk.
- You need 100 g (3 oz) of flour (plain, wholemeal or gluten-free).
- You need 50 g (2 oz) of dried mixed fruit.
- Prepare 100 g (3 oz) of finely chopped fruit (e.g. apple or pears).
- It's 1 teaspoon of sugar.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of mixed spice or cinnamon.

- Beat the egg into the milk, then put the flour in a bowl and gradually stir in the milk mixture until smooth, then mix in the dried and fresh fruit (pears can be used instead of apples - about 100g)..
